Buy and Register a New MTN SIM

Get a New MTN SIM

Register the SIM and ensure your details and biometrics are properly captured.

Insert the New MTN SIM in a Phone of your choice (Preferably a data enabled one), load airtime and make a call or send an SMS.

Step 2:

Register on any of MTN Channels as a Retailer

To register the line to start buying/Selling airtime and data bundles, follow any of the three (3) registration options:

1. Dial *456# on your MTN number and follow the prompts

OR

2. Send a Whatsapp message to +2348032002954 (Whatsapp only)

OR

3. Send an email to tradesupporthelpdesk@mtn.com or retail.channel@mtn.com

Once you do any of the above, an MTN staff will get in touch with you.

Do not that the Whatsapp or email should contain the message:

“I want to be an MTN Retailer”

Provide your:

1. Name
2. Phone Number
3. Location

Once your registration is completed, you are all set to start your transactions!

Here is how to buy products once you have completed the registration

·         Dial *456# from your MTN line

·         Buy from any Distributor outlets within your location

Note: To buy directly from MTN, you must be registered on MTN Retail Platform.
